Graham writes to inform Lewis Cass that his letter regarding the removal of the Wyandot nation to the area near the Huron river had been submitted to the President. Graham wanted to inform Cass that he would take any necessary measures to accomplish this removal. Graham speaks of an application that had been made to the Department, assumed to be the department of war from which Graham is writing, on the behalf of Colonel Dickson who was formerly of the British Service. The application was for a passport to go into the McLean County, which is located in Illinois. Colonel Dickson had been informed that if the application to Lewis Cass was received that his passport would be granted.
