Stickney believes that it would be much easier to manage and attend to the affairs of the <Wyandotts of Sandusky [Ohio]> if the Wyandotts were located in Detroit rather than all the way in Sandusky. Stickney informs Cass of the presence of other tribes in the area, including Senecas, Delawares, and Mohawks. There are about 100 Senecas at Stoney Creek, and they are connected to the Wyandotts so much that <they all ought to be under the same agency>.
