Roll_10 from July 11, 1826 is to Lewis Gafo from his Servant (Illeligable)
|This letter opens up with Gafo's servant talking about a letter from Judge Kotly. Gafo's servant talks about how Judge Kotly is talking about how the agency is over taking someones house. That person is looking for money from the US and the agency. As the letter goes on, Gafo's servant <the house of at Jones... has been claimed and confirmed to Mr. John Lawe>. His servant talks about how the settlement led to Mr. Lawe|
I believe that they are speaking on some sort of settlement. Some of the words are difficult to read but it seems that a house has been possessed by the agency and given to another man. It also seems that Gafo is looking to buy a different house from another settlement.
