This letter is different from past ones as it is a direct threat to the Indians from the Department of War and the Indian office of Affairs. The letter talks about how the agents need to start trying to move or <destroy> the Indians from their land. Lichemen talks about how the Indians are a terrible disturbance and need to be taken care of for the whites in the area. He wants this to be done by using the acts that are and place and also fear. Lichemen tells the Governor of Michigan that he has the backing of these departments and the secretaries that run them. At the end, he mentions that a few ways to get them off the land is by saying that their trading is a violation against the law. He also wants to try to get them for <evasion of the law>. This is a pretty big letter because it comes before most of the others. This make it seem like the US really wants the Indians out of the land but following the other letters they were not able to do it right away.
