McKenney states that he received Cass' letter from the 10th of August and is very thankful to learn that the goods sent into that country, Detroit, are so highly approved of.

He tells Cass that in the future the Wyandot Annuity should be ordered to Detroit according to the stipulations featured in the treaty. McKenney wished for them to be delivered to Picqua by that was shot down based off of instructions which been given based on the customary direction to Detroit, mentioned in his letter from June 8th.

He hopes that Cass will occasionally write him on the subject of Indian trade in order to aid him in further instruction.
