The Superintendent of Indian trade will forward the annuities of the Ottowas, Chippewas, and Potawatomies for 1813-1816 to Cass. The Wyandots will receive their annuities through Johnson at Picqua. Cass is given full control to make arrangements with chiefs of Potawatomies for annuities and will be sanctioned by Department of War. Superintendent has also received request for $20,000 in annuities to be distributed by Cass when he chooses. Goods for one year's annuities sent to Stickeny and Johnston. Goods had been ordered in March, resignation of General Mason caused delay, McKenney is new Superintendent. Potawatomies have already received $1000 for 1811, and $400 for 1812. The Potawatomies are to receive $7600 for 1813, 14, 15, and 16.
