The letter starts off with Thomas McKenney describing his time in Indianapolis. He seems to really enjoy the people of Indiana. Mr. mcKenney starts to go into a number of small purchases that were offered up to him by a Mr. brown who lives in Union County Indiana. Mr. brown would not sell Mr. McKenney any meat for $20 which seems insignificant but Mr. McKenney has that spot marked on the note with an underline of a few words. They seemed to have gone back and forth on a number of items before Mr. Mckenney left. It seems that a lot of these trading goods were important to Mr. Gofs because McKenney makes a pretty big deal about it.

As the letter goes on, it seems that Mr.Tipton is talking about buying a plot of land in Indiana. The letter changes focus onto a cornel and starts to become more difficult to read
I believe that they are talking about buying a new plot of land for another government agency building outside of Indianapolis. Tipton starts off by talking about it then goes into more governmental issues.
