McKenney thanks Cass for being very thorough and exact in his invoices for goods to meet the tastes and wants of the Indians, since it makes McKenney's job easier. The goods are almost ready, in nearly the proportions described and with few missing. McKenney hopes to have the annuities due to the Potawatomies, Chippewas, and Ottowas for 1813, 14, 15, and 16 and $20,000 in presents on their way to Detroit. McKenney sends his best wishes and hopes to correspond soon about the Indians that Cass exercises control over.
