B. F. Stickney to Lewis Cass, March 20, 1817
| <I have but a moment to write>. He hopes that this will me you at Detroit returned safe from Washington.|
Last fall he sent Cass a letter by Bondie that included a list of Indian warriors who went from Greenville to Detroit with Cass and requested him to sign the certificate. This is required to settle the account. He is hoping this simply slipped Cass' memory. He then asks Cass to return the letter signed as soon as possible.
There is also some remorse from the Indians in relation to the schemes of the British Government.
