McArthur says he assumes Cass has a similar letter, but that it says that efforts should be made towards getting Indians towards <"relinquishment of their claim to as much as possible of the lands within the State of Ohio">. He says most Indians who would be related to this claim live around the Miami of the Lake and so Fort Meigs should be where the treaty is. He says to please tell him, the Contractor, and the Indians if Fort Meigs is the chosen spot, and he will try his best to make it.
