Stickney continues in his letter, informing Crawford that a few Indians have purposed in secrecy to him revoking Miami tribe loyalty to the British. Stickney points out that this won't be linked back to the United States, but does not believe this to be justifiable. Stickney points out that Richardville, "has more respect for character than any Indian or Half-Indian". Stickney also notes Richardville's loyalty to the British, especially in the late war[War of 1812]. He notes Potatomie Chief Pierre Moran as a very different character.
